The complete abatement, dismantling and salvaging of (2) exist- ing foster wheeler boilers within an active plant using Type III measures. Schouten provided complete enclosures using sys- tem scaffold around the boilers to create a negative pressure se- cure environment during abatement of insulation and refractory brick while systematically hot cutting the tubing systems and boiler structure. Selective demolition of the existing house keep- ing pads was complete for Boiler #1 and salvaging the main boiler plate of Boiler #2 was completed with success
