Project Overview
This project was tendered out by University of Waterloo to de-
molish the existing student throughout bridge over University
Ave in preparation for a connecting bridge from the newly built
residence building
Project Scope:
The complete demolition of the existing CMH vestibule and
connection the to existing university breezeway. Helical pile and
heavy bracing was installed while Schouten selectively saw cut and
separate the vestibule from the main tunnel positioned over
University’s active roadway. Additional demolition of E3 front fa-
çade and footings to provided a clear path for new works and new
residence building to be erected.
